Not sure what the problem is, but check out this video showing what happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrBeNIeJH7M
EDIT: NOW IT IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. I tried reinstalling SDK again; figured I'd just leave Hammer up for a while but this time, it's not working for TF2 at all.
Rage.
I have tried:
Upgrading ABS's FGD
Despite that, my gameinfo.txt still pointed to tf.fgd instead of tf-abs.fgd
Attempted using another person's gameinfo.txt, updating all the tf2 paths
Deleted the clientregistry.blob
Verified TF2's cache
Uninstalled/Reinstalled SDK
After reinstalling, SDK allows access to TF2 on the dropdown the first time, but any time after closing SDK and re-opening, it refuses as shown in the video
And, there *is* a tf subfolder in sourcesdk_content
Uninstall/Reinstall TF2 itself
Verified integrity of game files
(I had help with all of that, as there is no way I would have any clue about any of it besides the uninstall/reinstall, lol) I have posted my issue on the steam sdk forums, but I have been told that those forums suck. :V I hope someone can help me!
Oh! Just in case, I'm using Windows 7, 64bit, sdk 2009
EDIT, pasted from below:
Oh jesus I forgot to include that, yes, I've tried refreshing the content and I have tried resetting configurations. Wow, I feel dumb forgetting that lol :V
