Naughtice is a small koth which is based in the middle of who knows where, in any case, it is cold, very cold !

The capture point is high and allows for an easy defense

Thus, it is strongly recommended to rush to the point first, as it is subject to intense spamming, fortunately, several paths are available to you to possibly adopt a softer tactic, or a frontal attack a bit suicidal.

It's to you opt for the most appropriate technique.

That's a ton of icicles, and the corrugated metal on the bridge looks too unorganized. Honestly, even in TF2, they'd have some sense to the way they were set up.

Couple things. First off, you've got too many icicles, specifically some that don't seem to be where they could form in the first place.

Secondly, who are you. You come here when Artpass was announced and produce an awesome looking artpass entry, and then you release this, and from the looks of the video, you know your stuff. It's like this is An Icy Mouse-like event all over again! *tinfoil hat*

Who's concrete blend is that?

I'm a belgian mapper, and my english is very bad, so i avoid to post on english forums.

And where do you see concrete blend ?

I note for the ice.

And yeah, i'm not very inspired for the ligthing for the moment, i will modify this for future version

Haaaa welcome fellow Belgian mapper! Are you from Vlaanderen or Wallonie? :p

From what I can see on the screenshots, I have to agree with the others here.

Although it looks nice to play, and hopefully, you won't have to change it to much - it is usually better to start the detailing after a couple of playtesets, so that you won't have to move a lot of props and rematch the textures.
Other then that although the idea of "get to the point first to win" is nice, and that it'll be hard to re-capture it, I think that in that case most of the team will be scouts and a after they'll capture it they'll make there a big sentry-nest. In that case I suggest to add an alternative way to reach the point from higher ground (balconies, a broken roof with access to all classes, etc.)
That is long

There is not much of a sentry nest, and I think it will be hard to build close to the point.

But we will see that on a play test.

Obviously this is looking pretty good, but surely I am not alone being a little worried to see an alpha1 map being fully detailed ?
Especially since you are willingly taking risks with spam and turtling.

I asked about the concrete blend because I had thought it WAS Void's, and you didn't mention that in your post. So I was gonna remind you too. :p

Yeah, but i don't use it :D

the map is far from being fully detailed:)

Your map looks nice and looks like it follows most basic gameplay elements like controlled sight lines and cover. I'd have to agree with the others and say there is just a few too many icicles in one place; they look repetitive. Apart from that it looks great! Snow theme is one of my favorites.

If RaVaGe is anything like me, he doesn't care if he has to change an entire area and redetail it.

arena_littleedge was pretty detailed for an a1. And a4 is, like, 90% detailed. My 5cp is goign through the same thing right now.

Don't paste those corrugated sheets of metal onto everything. It's important that players can see and shoot each other. Cover is fine but details placed like that just get in the way; for both movement and combat.

Either something should be a solid wall that obviously cannot be shoot through, or not and it's obvious you can effectively shoot through large gaps. Plus gaps are easily exploited by snipers...
