This is just a fun map that I made for my group. I just thought I would release it as well. Disco floor is completely random and there is music.

Models: Rexy, Sinistar, mangledpixel, HellJumper777, and various from gmod.org.

YES a working jukebox. you should make the song change at random when the point is capped, and then, if someone doesn't like it, they have to go back to the jukebox to change it (maybe the enemy jukebox to make it more interesting).

I will be releasing another version with working music in a little bit. (unfortunately had to go with wavs now since mp3's are too unreliable)

I just uploaded Beta 3 with fully operational music at the cost of it being a whopping 117 megs...

Something I didnt note before; the .nav file is also in the zip so tf_bots are usable.

If possible, it would be cool that before the point if captured the disco floor is random colors, when BLU captures it's only cool colors and when RED captures it's only warm colors.

Just released a new version, here is the changelog:

B6:
  • -More lighting, team colors are distinguishable now.
  • -New Rexy models from Manor (Piano, turtleshell lamp.)
  • -Working piano keys and drums/cymbals, just shoot them!
  • -A second spawn to prevent spawncamping!
  • -Other new models, Studio Lamps (mangledpixel), Popcorn Machine/bags (HellJumper777).

If you downloaded it before and thought it was waay too dark, please reconsider it, it is now MUCH brighter. And it's lots more tf2ish now! (Thanks Rexy!)

Update:

I'm currently working with a modeler and getting some more custom models for this map... (dinerbooth, chairs so far)

We were wondering, would there be any interest in a nightclub theme pack?

I Expect there to be a British Pub area added because if there isn't I'll make messed up collision models for everything so I can camp inside objects!

I have a new version but have run into an issue with the .wav files, I would really like to have someone outside of my server to test it out because not everyone who i played with got the issue. (And I didnt hear it either) So, If someone would be so kind as to test it, here is the link:

If you test it, please report back to this thread or to me in steam. Just walk around listening to the music.

I tried to shrink the files to the lowest possible filesize that source accepts which is 8bit, 11k mhz, and mono. If anyone knows if there are issues with that, please tell me. (Also, I have other wavs that are NOT these settings, could there be an issue with combined with those?)
