So yeah. I released a map. Feels good.

Made in one day with inspiration from a few pictures a saw on a forum I frequent.

Very WiP. There are a few bugs in that I'm aware of and they will be fixed in an upcoming a2 - hopefully to be released tomorrow. Other than that, it's fully playable and is ready for gameplay testing.

I'm very tiered and need to sleep now. More info and hopefully a new version coming tomorrow.

I ran around the map and I found some things you need to fix.

I think one potential issue is that there is only one spawn with only one exit. If one team dominates the other to the point they can spawncamp it will become very very annoying.
Other than that it looks like a decent layout alright, let us see how it actually plays. :)

^For Arena it wouldn't be a problem but for King of the Hill you need more than 1 door. 2 or 3 doors out of a spawn is usually the best plan.

I noticed your screenshots are named "arena_***" you could make this map back into an Arena variant later on.

Yup. It used to be arena, hence the singular spawn room door.

Since I, and many others, find arena boring I decided to change it to koth.

All the above issues have been addressed in the newest version.

Also, love your map. Even though I have a slight feeling the spawns may be a tad close to the main gameplay area, this really has some potential. I can see some issues appearing with this many flanks, though, I can see spies and scouts being a bit overpowered at times. I'd look at moving the spawns a bit from the control point, and focusing the gameplay a bit more to the control point. Having flanks can be good, but too many will lead to the map flowing away from the control point and becoming a deathmatch.

GL with the map, can't wait to see this detailed!
