Well some news for who want.
I didn't had the time to make the Red Base...well I put some ideas but it's all...I wasn't inspired at all so I lost a looooot of time on that...

So yes my map is not finished :(

BUT, for who want make a run I share it here :

Well...it's sad for me but (and for you?)...I liked make it...and...fucking red base! ^^

Hi, here is my participation. There is not a lots of things now and I'm still looking for a good design but I think that the basic ambiance is there.
I don't want make a very original map but just a beautiful map. :)

Well, you'll see some screens in Hammer and not in game because I have a compilation problem (if you have a solution).

It's pretty weird that there are 2 big radiotowers close to eachother. ;)

Issue 1:
They are both red

Issue 2:
Blu is invading--they dont have any territory besides the spawn room.

Blue Spawn is coming out nice. One issue you might have though, the door overlay for me still shows that black area around the actual door texture you might get the same thing. Seeing your screens I remembered the problem so maybe someone has an idea on it.

swap out the brick on the inside of the BLU spawn for spytech textures. The massive picture also looks out of place.

Also odd that you have distillery tanks on the side of your buidling. What's that all about?

Well The radio tower and some elements are still there "in souvenir" of my design research so it's possible that they will disappear in the future.
About the distillery tanks in my roof it doesn't shock me anymore, it looks good so...why not? :D

And as soon as I can I'll post some screenshots in game, don't worry about that!

Hey,
I solved my problem so now I can continue the map and, of course, compile my map!

So here are two screenshots took from my last compile.
The atmosphere is present...the lights (lamps,...) are very WIP so don't make attention to that ;).
Now I can to work the brushworks, details,...and after that, the lights will be placed to have a better visual.

It looks like you opened gorge and did ctrl+c ctrl+v from red's entrance, but it looks awesome anyway

They both look good. I'm more partial to the snow (Hey, I'm Minnesotan) since it was, as Grim said, more unique. You still have the nice evening atmosphere going which is nice, and you didn't go overboard on the lighting for a night map, which I find some people do when they make a night themed map.
