FYI feel free to use these in the contest. Let me know if you do though so I can follow your map!

Now Penguin has an overlay for each spawn!

I really enjoy the art style on these

Nice ideas. I do think you need to tone down the dirt a scratches a bit though, particularly in the no smoking overlay. It's really quite obvious that you've used a 100% opacity, round eraser brush. Try cutting into the text and image a little less and try using a flat brush with the opacity turned down. Also generating a noise layer to go on top and turning the opacity down will make it look much less flat without adding too much detail.

Absolutely love the first one though, we need more overlay like that. Keep up the good work. :)

Nice feel overall. I don't think this community could possibly have TOO many overlays.

One issue tho, that hard hat doesn't read very well.
Consider a gentle downward 3/4 view so you can paint in that distinct brim which is lost in this rendering.

Neither of those fonts work. The TF2build shouldn't really be used on in-world content, and the other one seems way too contradictory to the message. (hippy/70s?)

I don't think any of those fonts really work either.

However I like all of the ones in the original post a lot!

Should have made it clearer, but the small one is the original it's based off of. I'll look into a few new fonts though.

EDIT: Rechecked the source, say's its 1960s... yet that's loose enough to mean 70s.

EDITv2: Changed the Font.

On closer inspection of these posters, they almost seem too worn. It's as if they've been ripped off and put back up several times.
