I've completely changed the last point to a space/lab theme here.

I also changed the skybox from a rainy storm to a sunny day with the stormfront rolling in. I'll have screens to show soon. :D

Old stuff
Here we go! I figured everyone would come up with so many original/different ideas that they would all become the same. So, I decided to just pick a not-so-original theme and try to make something epic out of it. I've also put in rain, cause I think thats pretty different from any valve map as far as desert themes are concerned.

I've noticed as well, that most people have altered the layout in someway, even if its only a pillar or prop. I have tried to stay as true to the original layout as possible.

I haven't done any lighting really, so thats pretty rough, and I haven't finished the custom skybox (sawmill skybox is placeholder) or even started on the 3dskybox. I do have most of the map roughed out, but I'm losing umph, so I figured getting someone else's view on it might help. If you guys have critiques or comments I'd be glad to hear them.

Epic. Extremly epic.
Might want to add a few cubemaps, though.
Plus a nice theme idea you've got there!
Edit: the roof thing (ramp) in pic #3 looks really strange... maybe adding there some barrels and mining crates would make it look more needed...
Think about it.

My only complaint is that in the second picture, the building on the far right, with the 3 big glass windows, looks unfinished. Something about the way the far left window sits so close to the edge as well as the obvious texture break between the main building and the roof just kill it's believeability, which is so nicely built through the rest of the map :).

Should be an easy fix, but it looks AWESOME otherwise.

A wild challenger has appeared!

Ugh, I guess I'll have build the cubemaps next time huh. :p

Thanks Harmless, I haven't gotten around to finishing that building for some reason. But I'll be sketching out a design for it pretty soon here, because it bother me too.

Also you have done great detailing.
In the second picture (from the last you've posted) there are some wooden crates behind the big red metal crates, no one will see them. You might want to delete them or bring them to the front.

Is the lighting too desaturated here? I'll be adding more details to the room but wasn't sure if the lighting was too far out of tf2s realm of style.

Here's under the final point with all its blue glowing goodness -- I even made some custom models for the rocks. :D

Oh WOW, I really like that C point you have (I would certainly be happy to jump to my clumsy painful death), and nice detailing all around.
