Making a custom hud

How do you make a custom hud for your map. I searched but couldnt find any tutorials.

Basicly I would like a minimap that shows the location of certain entities. (I dont even know if that is possible.)

Hud customization (for maps) is extremely limited in TF2.
A minimap sounds like one of those impossible things I'm afraid.
