At least it looked like some mapping went into making this Achievement map. So that's a plus..

but it is an Achievement map after all so i gotta take back your point leaving it at Zero..

Zero for an achievement map is a good thing though =) most are negative.

I think naming it achievement_GOLDEN_wrench is a bit misleading.

The map actually looks like a good start, so it's a shame you didn't bother taking it 1 step further and making at least a koth/arena map.

Achievement maps smack of "i can't be arsed and respect is over rated anyway. So here's something that's likely to get me kudos in the shortest amount of time and effort".

It seems only two people in this thread actually played the map past the 10 minutes mark.

Set host_timescale to 30, wait until you hear the announcer, then reset it to 1. Then you can pass judgement.


It feels like there should be some kind of instant trigger for the main event of the map. Perhaps a hidden breakable object on each team's side? This would make it a fun event map, since players wouldn't need to wait for 10 minutes each time it restarts.

It also feels...unfinished after you win it. Saws still pop up at the small resupply areas, explosions still keep going off, even though the fight is over. How about the map returning to normal after the players win?
