Farm/Industrial setting.

Have only worked on Point A so far. Not finished with Point A though. Starting to work my way toward B.

Thanks, modified the beams and whatnot to make them a little more realistic. Added more detail work to Point A. Still need to fix some bad lighting places.

I had a long message typed out, but it someone became deleted, so il summarize:

In all valve maps, props have a reason to be there. However, here there is no underlying story. There are train cars with no trains. Communication towers next to grain silos. Pick a theme, and stick with it, don't dabble in lots unless you can pull it off!

The theme remains farm/industrial. Of course, like all Valve maps, it is all a facade for a secret base! Maybe the communications tower doesn't yet look good aesthetically, but I'm still working on it. I think the problem isn't so much that it's a communications tower as much as that it's a bright shiny red-and-white communications tower; I wish it had an alternate skin with more subdued and rustic colors. Maybe the tower should be nestled somewhere deeper in RED's base.

I'll take your advice and try to make sure the prop-work appears more coherent.

About the Conveyor:

The train-wheels on the side of the conveyor are meant to give the appearance of a pulley-driven system to carry grain horizontally, because otherwise gravity alone wouldn't work.

Yes, I know they're technically "train wheels", but being I don't have the 3D modeling skills necessary to make my own models, I'm working with what's available. I'm at a distinct disadvantage in that department compared to other contest entries.

About the Shuttle-Shack:

I realize the shuttle-shack doesn't make any logical sense whatsoever, but it fits in with the original layout and it looks reasonable enough. After all, this is TF2, and secret ulterior motives rule the day!
