So, thought I would post the progress I have made on my map. As you can see, it will be a snow themed map, not much beyond that at the moment, just re-worked some of the displacement painting at the blu spawn along with adding a few textures to both spawns, a long with the snow and the rest you can see in the screenshots. With most probability I will be working on this map quite the bit throughout the night now, so hopefully more updates will follow suit soon.

Alright, finally time for some updates on how its progressing.

As Imageshack is not cooperating with me, I will just update the OP with pictures.

I believe so, though I couldn't find anything better and seeing as how they are standard textures in Hammer, I thought I would just use them.
Take the cliff textures from Viaduct or coldfront if you're not sure what's what... You can find the decompiled maps here.

you should stay away from blu and red lighting as it makes it hard to see what team your on

I haven't quite decided on what color scheme I will use yet, though so far cap points will have spot lights, as can be seen, that will change color depending on who is holding it. The blue color I use is used mostly due to the fact that its a snow map, so it would have blue, cold colors.

And a slight update showing some of the work done around the first cap point, still not finished with it. Also found a setting I like for the environmental light.

And please ignore the pink light on the first cap point, I will be changing it since I can't seem to get it to work the way I want it to.
