im trying to get into making models and modeling and what not, however i cant get a handle on a few aspects of it, does anyone know where to find some tutorials or something like that?

any help would be appreciated thank you.

You might want to try posting in the Mapping and Tutorials section, this area is actually for models themselves, showcasing and downloading.

Naturally, the tutorials will be different for whatever software you're building in. I suggest googling for specifics with your choice of software.
