Where is the golden wrench?

I want to have a golden wrench sitting on a table in my map so i go through the models in in hammer and.... it isn't there?


Where is it hidden? I though maybe it was just a second skin for the normal wrench but hammer only shows 1 skin for both the c_model and w_model versions.



Anyone have an idea where the wrench is hidden?

Maybe it's just a color overlay like the uber effect is (...I think).

I believe it's just a special affect applied by the engine similar to the community weapon particles and shine.

You don't. It's defined in the weapon's properties.

I heard from somewhere (??) that it is buried deep in the dank dark corners of the steam folder. maybe.
