Got b1b running in the regular rotation of Maget Engie (83.142.50.10:28015). People like it lots, no criticism so far.

Big issue, on larger servers the map can crash quite often. We already had a crash on 24 players IR. The reason for that is known.

When i did cl_showents this was the last to show:
Ent 1760: class 'CTeamRoundTimer'

Notice the number. it has to be below 1480. The further above it the more chance on a crash. 1480 is the limit valve has set on their maps so that should be safe.

So to solve that reduce the ammount of dynamics (can be hard i know).

I honestly haven't a clue about that and I've heard no problems about it crashing other servers. Maybe Booj can shed some light on the issue?

I can confirm this as I was on server when it happened and was quite some time into playing; we'd already played a complete round before it finally crashing the server about a minute into stage 1 for the second time, which is consistent with what Alias said.

Other than that, the map is fantastic- you've done a great job with it. :)

Note that on normal servers like the tf2maps there isnt alot of chaos. they have 24 players and no instant respawn. however, ukcs has 26 players and instant respawn (the crash moment was at 24). But note that at instant respawn there can be double as much going on. counting 150 dynamics being used by just weapons of alive players this gives about 150 more dynamics in your map. where normaly you might see 100 used at peak moments instant respawn can give far more.

As valve is even aware of 32 players with quite alot of engys and demoman there is a chance it goes above 400 dynamics being used by players. In your map this would have crashed far before.

To give you a hint and try what i mean with dynamics: Try on your server to spawn 31 demoman bots and yourself as demo. Let all those bots mimic you. then shoot all your stickies, then try to shoot all your grenades. In your map this guarantees a crash. This is also on goldrush and pipeline btw. However, watch the moment at when this happens. In goldrush it crashes at the 3rd grenade. In your map this is by far earlier.

Sounds like you hit the No Free Edicts error :O

i.e. you have too many dynamic entities in your map.

Getting rid of the useless anti-stalemate mechanic would help ease this :p

Alright, I've got it down to 1347 without any bots. With bots I've managed to reach 1948 using the test you've described. Should be fine, right?

if you can run 31 demomen with bot_mimic 1 and constantly spamming commands, then it should be fine afaik

We have mainline and basalt on our rotation (which were made bt SWATY), so it would be nice to have another tf2maps.net users map on our server :p

No. It doesn't seem useless at all. We've been playing Nightfall a lot lately, and while it plays great, it can, like a lot of maps, be locked down by engineers. This could be a real problem in pipeline, but the rolling forward forces teams to get out there and push.
