cp_blobmap_a1 a working title.

Edit: more info that will help you understand. It's 5cp, very rough and needs testing. (no rage pl0x)

Over many days there was struggle to make this map.
Minutes passed and Blob grew increasingly frustrated, trying to force screenshots of it onto Midget and zpq. - But they were having none of it. They decided to Bully Blob into finishing a map for once. Oh the horrors.

cp2 is very simlar to the turbine rooms in tc_hydro. I will change this once I have a decent narritive to work from. Please don't rage. - I know.

I also havn't finished all displacements. - I'll do this for A2

Just ran it, very nice ;p I can see it being very fast paced, for what i can see as a novice, i dont think its overpowering for any one class, Love teh vents, but on the second CP's of each base the capture point writing might need to be rotated but other than that atm its very nice Blob

Cheers! - I know there will be problems, although it's only A1.
Mainly lighting methinks. But mid needs work.

looks great i cant see anything that could be a issue in the screenshots but i will defiantly want to play it on a game day.

Middle looks boring(ie it feels like I've seen it before). Two of the CP are on bridges?

Middle looks boring becase it's not finished. :p

The CPs are on /small/ bridges, yes.
- I might change it later. - see how it plays.

really i like that CP the bridge helps manage spam since grenades will roll into the water and the cliff thing around it provides ok cover and gives a good height difference for solly's to play with.

Thanks, it's not really a "bridge" in the sence of Badlands.
It's more how you put it. - keeping the cp and spam away from the water.

Basic Feedback
  • Mid felt too open/too large. Try shrinking it down a bit.
  • The top mid area bit is easy camp/spam for demoman and soldier
  • At the second point there is a dark room
  • You might wanna make the cap time quicker on the last point
  • The door broken at blue spawn needs to be fixed
  • Second felt good
  • I quite liked the end point

A1a: Fixes:
dark rooms, lighting.
cap times on final cps now 1.5 rather than 2.0 secands.
fixed broken blue spawn door.
health kit placement.
sniper lines.
