It's really, really annoying when that keeps popping up when I've come here just to surf, it forces me to log on just to stop it from popping up.

Suggestion: Remove the 'it appears you have not yet registered' bar.

That doesn't really work if you're browsing from, say, an internet cafe, or a school computer lab.
I don't actually know what the bar is in question, since I always browse from home, but I'm just saying from a security standpoint, the "remember me" option should always be merely a convenience, never a solution. =P

no its an addon for vbulletin. the software thats powering tf2maps.net
its used to increase chances of the user actually posting and getting involved with the discussion instead of just lurking.
ill leave it for now but if it becomes more of a headache for members ill go ahead and remove it.

Because personally if I were to come to a website that gave me such annoyances (it makes a sound too, doesn't it? I know something did when I came back after the change and wasn't logged in), rather than registering I would deem the site unforgivable and never come back. (I really really hate annoying stuff on sites <_<)
