I'll start with the good stuff. First off, our competitive CTF contest has finally come to an end; http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=13316 Huge props to everyone who participated, and grats to the winners. You will be contacted about your prizes shortly.

Next item of business, a lot of you have taken upon yourselves to host your own Events and mini-Contests. This kind of activity is always encouraged, so be sure thank the users and check out the new stuff Lastly, we have actually once again become even more popular. I didn't think it was possible either, but we did. The awesome resource TF2 Wiki now has a permanent TF2Maps.net link on the main side bar. You can expect our own wiki-article to follow suit.

So what kind of amazing adventures do you all have planned this Summer?

First post? ok. Lots of good stuff came out of that contest, I'm pumped for the next one. Although, will probably end the same way for me, dropping out early because of the hordes of work to do -.-

As for me? Well, I will be playing with an Aerobie (for those who don't know), I mean work >.> and maybe, just maybe, I might release a map for testing :O

I'm glad I actually do have a job. Just as an assistant for my father though (He is a mason). But it pays good by the hour!

But when it comes to mapping I'm just waiting for that contest to come around. If I can actually see myself enjoying my own map this time (As opposed to the CTF and PLR I've tried) I'll be glad to spend lots of time working on my entry!

I have a ton of games that I'll finally have time to complete! (Dead Space, Penumbra, Aquaria, Fallout 3, HL2: Episode 2, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Spelunky, Darwinia, Braid) I'll be mapping a whole lot, too :D I'm hoping to do something with the UT3 editor and the NS2 editor if I can find the time. And since it's summer i'll probably go outside. Oh yeah and I'll need a job, too, to pay for uni o.o

I will be leaving this weird-ass country called Korea and returning home. Not sure what I'll do then. Might actually finish a map with any luck.

Although that'll actually be after the summer.

This summer I are mostly desk-warming.

Might revive chicane at some point, solely because of the great model Rexy made for it.

I jobbed my way into a jobby job and out of my need for a job so now I have a job and I'll be jobbing for the summer.
