Neither Hammer nor Faceposer load, and the Model Viewer crashes instantly.

All fine for me ... there was some update stuff today that updated some of the configs. The update mentioned that hitting "Reset Game Configurations" might fix problems people could have post-update.

They announced it in news. Changed around the engines in their names, which it claims will screw up anything you folks are working on:

Updates to Source SDK have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

SDK Launcher
'Half-Life 2', 'Episode 1', 'Episode 2', and 'Counter-Strike: Source' now default to the 'Source Engine 2009' engine configuration.
Users developing content for these games should manually add configurations for these games in the context of the 'Source Engine 2009' engine or can simply use the 'Reset Game Configurations' utility.

My hopes would mean a Mac port of Source SDK. But I'm being to positive.

Hmm, well now I don't feel so bad about not mapping tonight like I had previously planned.

Hmm... I did notice that last night. I thought it was just because I had TF2 and Photoshop and Hammer all open and my computer isn't that awesome, but if you experienced it too... :(

Okay, I'm noticing this, too. It's not just happening with the cntrl-shortcuts, but also when using the mouse pointer to manipulate brushes. It's like the area of what's clickable has changed.
