newest progress on the melee :)
yes, i know that it clips, but i'm a lazy bastard that can't do custom animations, nor had the brain to adapt the grip more to the original :D

Fix the hacksaw. I don't like the first one. It doesn't look any more interesting than the bonesaw.

it's not suppose to look any more interesting. just replacing things :)
i didn't wanna put tooooo much of a spin to the tf2 world and kept things simple without too many gadgets and stuff :)
got one week left to think of names and which melee to submit :)

That doesn't mean that you can't make something original. People wouldn't use a reskin of the bonesaw that's very similar to the bonesaw. Why do you think Ravidge, Shmitz, and YM are making drastic changes to their weapons so that they have different silhouettes? Why do you think the Telltale weapons look different from the revolver and pistol? Even if it's not going to have a different purpose it should look different, otherwise you can't flaunt your cool new weapons.

That's irrelevant, but the medic could always be stabbing them with the bolt on the front, have a really good arm, or be sawing into them on the draw back. Additionally, Valve and Polypack have been really mysterious on what the actual release pack will contain, but we have received word that Valve will be making some animations. Whether or not that applies to all weapons that would look wrong otherwise is beyond me, but I think it'd be fine as is.

dear mister :)
i'm always open to critique, but you're too demanding :)
it was my choice to go that route to not go too much overboard and i respect everyones choice of doing differently.
I'm personally too much of a fan of adding punny addditional gadgets to the weapons. i think the needlegun has enough distinctive silhouette and i'm not too sure about which saw to submit. if i choose the first, sure it's not too original - but still the silhouette is more than enough differentiated (from grip to blade)
the hacksaw would be something totally different, but i don't like too much how it looks in the first person perspective, so that's why i haven't decided yet, which route to go for.

so i'm sorry to having disappointed you once again, but that's how life goes. maybe the next weapon i'll be doing, will be better accepted by you. i'll do my very best !

I haven't seen the hacksaw in first person, so I wouldn't be able to judge based on that.

EDIT:

Nevermind. I like how it looks in first person. I think you should use the hacksaw.
