after some feedback from players, im thinking of converting cliffsedge from a single stage payload, to a 3-stage

first divide would be around the 2nd cap point,
2nd divide would be before the 3rd cap point.

any comments?

We're running this on our Payload Extreme no-heroes server. It's a nice change of pace for the PL map because it's huge. It's hard to setup any Sentry Guns given the size, so you have to adapt your play-style for that. There are definitely a lot of different paths to the points, too.

i heard this map has an admin room to trigger the animations, where might this room be?

no clip into the room with ying yang(near final cp) doors, then go through glass window, shoot object on desk then all the admin buttons appear, but which ones do which im not sure

Provided the pictures on the front page are updated, your wooden paths on the outside looks painfully long and dangerous, which could be frustrating to players. Additionally, in the shot that looks to showcase the final CP, there's a building around the middle of the picture that has wooden barriers, both of which look a bit thick.


If they aren't, I'll pull out the scissors :p

Additionally, in the shot that looks to showcase the final CP, there's a building around the middle of the picture that has wooden barriers, both of which look a bit thick.

the long wooden path on the side, is a long bypass for high risk flanking.

and i cant figure out which building you are refering to, could you provide a screenshot of that particular area?

development on pl_cliffsedge is on temporary hold because of the following:
1) im busy with other things
2) cp_treehouse broke (fixing)
3) koth_vesuvius is nearing its next release

expect more some time after 2 and 3 are finished
