So, I (like about thousand other tf2 players) had a few ideas about gametypes which could be really cool if worked out properly.
Like a set of minigames with a bunch of parts/stages.
I wasn't much into the hammer editor yet, so i wanted to ask;
If someone wanted to make an all-new gametype which does not resemble the common ones (pl, ctf, cp, etc), for example because it uses special gamerules (red team only pyros, some weapons removed from loadout, others slightly modified):
- Can i do this? Or is the SDK limited to triggers/events/small set of event actors?
- Could i realize this with the content in the sdk? Or do i need 3rd party stuff like server plugins and stuff?
- Where should someone start who wants to learn how to do stuff like that?
Thx4Help
