The engie should get an unlock for the pistol. Instead of the pistol, you get a lazer pointer. The lazer pointer is used to direct your sentry to a spot you want it to shoot, so if a bonked scout comes in while half his team runs by to destroy your nest you can direct the sentry towards the vulnerable team instead of the invincible scout. To balance it, I suppose you could have it work off a battery system, you can only point the lazer for so long until the battery runs out and needs to recharge.
Is that a community weapon? I havent heard of it... ugh I hate not playing TF2 for long periods of time, I feel like my friend who said "Pyro can airblast now? SINCE WHEN?"
It came out on the latest Community update, it's pretty cool.
You can get it from crafting a Dead Ringer and a Huntsman

The theme for the engie update, as robin has said in both refenrences to the engie update, is allowing the engie to get away from his base without having to worry so much about his buildings, which gave birth to the repair node and the unlock shown in the kritzkast interview.

It's not been colored, so it's probably just there for future fun.
Sentries are always accurate.
The pyro has had reflect kills since his update. If they didn't add it then, they wouldn't add it now. That doesn't apply to something like, say, the medic's ubersaw taunt which didn't come around until recently, or removing sappers with the homewrecker.

Yeah, I didn't know about the chocolate bar, pain train, and homewrecker until a few weeks ago. Valve is pretty silent about the community item releases.

Yeah, it was added along with the fuctionality to set players on fire.
It's a scrapped ambassador headshot icon.
It's getting tiresome how every unused thing gets digged up as 'new' when something happens. It's like the basement of Cairo's museum.
