Hell yes, will add to our ro again to get some feedback, good work. >:3
whoa where'd you spring up from! :D

Why is this?

They sent acegikmo some feedback on glacier and it can be summarized as "gravelpit style maps suck"

Unfortunate really.

Valve should make this official. :O

And you might want to update the OP (the text in the OP). :)
I did update it but the map speaks for itself really, no need for puny words.

This wasn't RC already?

Valve has also made it clear that it doesn't want any gravelpit styled maps, even if they are the most balanced maps ever.

When did they say this?
they added junction awhile back....

YM, I meant this part: "you can expect a first beta in roughly two weeks from this post."

QFT.

I am very disappointed by Valve with what happened. I love Gpit style maps, my favorite non Arena style.

I think their reasoning behind shunning gravelpit-style maps is that they try to keep teams from splitting up in order to promote teamwork, and Gpit CP is based around splintering teams up.

For me it is insulting that I somehow couldn't possibly manage teamwork by having the teams split up. I understand the reasoning, but I found the gpit style a refreshing approach to teamwork with the right people.

I find Payload to be an absolute chore.

Enough of these theology shenanigans, I come to congratulate :D
Glad to see this has finally made it to RC, not to say it wouldn't, but I'd hoped it would come out before retirement. :p.

Can't think of any real bugs I found, but I can complain about backcaps, right?

Because neither me or nine gives a shit.

We both have better things to do with our lives than fix the tiniest little ledge you can stand on. No one other than mappers really cares about them unless they're majorly advantageous, which neither of those two are.

This is the new floating door motor.

Exactly this. The floating door motors don't bug valve enough to eradicate them from their maps, so why should we be so worried about it?
Valve don't bother to eliminate all clipping 'issues' from their maps so why should we?

As long as you can't exploit said issue it doesn't matter.

Naturally clipping body-level walls so you run around smoothly is important and an entirely unrelated subject.
