I wasn't acting retarded for most of it. Once trotim was making a habit of spawn camping I decided screw it since we were losing by about 10 caps with at most 7 mins left. I feel that its too easy to camp both exits to spawn but apart from that the rest of the map plays fine.

I think I will fix that in a test version, I have an idea, but I don't know if it will work.

However, for b4, expect:

Lightmap optimization! Despite a lot being displacements ( for which I am not even going to attempt to lightmap )
The best optimization I can produce
General polishes & that for the contest submission
More signage (?)

You should also have a comma between "cry" and "scout". Unless you're concerned about scout rushes producing mass hysteria. (Scout! There's a scout incoming! There's a horrible hat-wearing SCOUT coming this way! SCOOOOOUT!)
Also I always capitalize the T, F, and M, in TF2Maps. And lots of stuff in the disclaimer needs capitalized.
The layout and pictures look great, though, and the map's top notch.

Since the theme is ... well... I dunno, lets say it revolves around rainbows, maybe it can be a sort of cloudy morning alpine. Give it a good, snowy, after-storm effect.

It's deffinately more colourful as alpine. It seemed more appropriate as snowy though. Plus your alpha blending is really patchy :/

edit: If you want a less monotonous colour scheme you could try a darker cliff texture. Something very dark like 80% darkness (to light). Because obviously the light blue metal, white wood, white snow and light grey cliffs don't leave much room for imagination.

It's a different version bsp, guys. That and the snowy version is more updated. I was bored and wanted to see what would happen if the earth orbited around the sun.

Anyway. When the contest is over, I'll be releasing b5. Both spawns now have another spawn door to prevent the spawn camping problems (hopefully) and other things which I currently forget.

Couldn't you combine the two? Small layer of snow and dripping off the houses, and sometimes uncovered grass? I think that'd make sense as a cloudburst is just over (as shown by the rainbow).
