Is it just me, or does the whole bowser/peach/mario situation seem a LITTLE REMINISCENT of the whole 'drunk ex' situation?

What if Bowser was actually Peach's ex-husband/ex-girlfriend, and forgets he got dumped every time he went drinking? I mean, think about it, bowser's form is just a sort of exaggeration of what people can be like when drunk - fire breathing is just really bad breath, and sometimes people can be seriously violent when drunk. Maybe bowser's horns mean something other than the physical sense, and when he kidnaps peach, it's for other reasons than the apparent kingdom (which could also be metaphorical for *something* as well).

Obviously, Mario would be peaches new boyfriend (hey, he's her *plumber*, despite never being seen plumbing, although it gets kinda f***ed up when you consider that apparently luigi is also a *plumber*) and obviously helps her go deal with bowser.
Naturally, after rescuing her she gives him a kiss and then gives him *cake*.

SERIOUSLY makes you think about the backstory with Miyamoto, doesn't it?

No, it's not a "risque fanstory", its a possible INTERPRETATION of what the whole story could mean? Seek and ye shall find, brutha.

The way I see it's like a Braid situation: Some guy takes mushrooms, trips his balls off, kidnaps princess peach, and Bowser is just trying to rescue her from the evil Mario.

I'm pretty sure nintendo never thought of anything like that. Maybe if they tried making a different game they could come up with an in-depth plot, but that one is about 20 years old. I'm sure they just sat down, thinking plot was an obstacle, and decided to put a princess in a castle with a fire-breathing turtle.

I remember in 3rd grade, no-one in my class even knew he was supposed to be a turtle. We all thought he was a dragon.

Yoshi is considered a dinosaur dragon, to me it all seems like they were on drugs when they made it, stomping on goombas or walking mushrooms, mushrooms that make you get bigger, 1-up mushrooms, talking mushrooms

Yea, I know.

Unrelated fact:
For some reason the Death Note page doesn't list "magnificent bastard", and I can't seem to find the 'magnificent bastard' page at all. Have you seen it?

By the way, I know all about alternative interpretations, google "pokemon coma theory" (I swear it actually made me tear up), or try this:

EDIT: nevermind found it.
I haven't checked if it links to death not yet.

Wow I was so young when I played the first pokemon and I didn't get it at the time, but it's such a mind f*ck to realize that all along I was the bad guy in that game!

Really? People look into this stuff waaaay too much.

Indeed ... and yet once you start reading what they come up with, pulling away without finishing is nigh-impossible! :O It seems so mundane and out-there, but it's so sickly interesting at the same time...
