Changing point capture times

So I'm trying to figure out a way to change the cap times of a trigger_capture_area ingame. The best way I've come up with was to put an Output on a trigger that goes "capture_area_middle,AddOutput,team_numcap_2 3,0,-1"

The change in time does work, but now the cap progress icon goes all jumpy so you can't tell how fast you're capping. Any ideas on how to fix?

I experimented with exactly the same thing. turns out caps aren't meant to have variable time and simply shit themselves.

If I understand it right, you mean the time a player stands on the point in order to cap it.
This can be changed if you open the capture point trigger_capture_area brush and change the value "Time to cap (sec)"
