Well I finally got water working today after spending almost all day trying to get it to work(Lack of tuts etc)

Anyway since I got it working I got one little problem; my water is brown; here is a screen:

The water is supposed to be clear. How can I fix?

2fort water is meant to be dirty, so it's fog level is quite close to represent that

Try... lets say... Well? Hydro's water could also work well.

Ok well is perfect texture for the water thanks for that. But I am having more problems with trying to make a walk into water concept. Like I'm trying to have that you don't fall into it; but walk into it. Like a ladder but water lol.

Could someone make a prefab so I can see how it would work? Cause I can't find an example. Since normally water you would drop into it.

Hammer likes to freak out and cry whenever you texture the sides and bottom of a block with water. A.k.a it won't work unless you get a special material for that sort of thing. But even then it won't really be water.

I was thinking like this:

Where you can walk into the water to get to the next level and vice versa. I appreciate the help though.

Just create a nodraw brush under your bridge, and texture the top face with your water texture. Bazing!
