This is my first map for TF2! Hope you enjoy it!

It's a payload map, where the blu team have to push a bomb to an underground red facility, hidden under a city building!

Okay thanks! But I'm not sure what "bump the old thread" means. Should I delete it??

Haha that map looks insane! I need to play it sometime, put it into gameday!

EDIT:
I just looked around the map, gave up after a while because it's goddamn huge! But one major thing I noticed, ignoring the lack of areaportals, is that fact you used light_dynamics. Please remove them and stick with baked lighting, because dynamic lights are a huge dredge on CPU. :)

Never really see city-themed TF2 maps, mainly because of the super ultra-secret spybase theme TF2 has the materials for. On a side-note though, it looks nice. The destroyed buildings could use a bit of alteration (form bricks then remove them to make holes more realistic rather than making a jagged rip), but other than that the screenshots are cool. Nice work. And whoa, just looked at screen #3 again; that hill looks ridiculously steep.

you really nailed the city theme!

some brushwork looks a bit iffy here and there, but very nice work! I especially like the turbine toom :O fantastic lighting.

I'm pretty sure this thread has already been made, like TPG said (ninja). Anyways, just to comment on the city theme you've stuck up:

1) I would suggest going with a sort of warehouse theme more then the city theme. I say this because
-TF2 traditionally isn't very conducive to a bustling city theme, but an industrial theme is certainly plausible (I don't mean this like pipeline, I mean like an actual industrial district)
-The Half Life 2 props and lighting sort of detract from the theme.
That said, the map itself looks really interesting. I would also like to see some more texture regulation (for example the grating floor on the platform in picture 1). Also, you might want to consider changing the lighting to more 'regular' tones, bright blue just doesn't strike me as realistic.

Finally, for what it's worth, this map totally reminds me of BF2142.

But I'm supposed to have removed all dynamic lights :( Where did you find some???
And I'm not really familiar with aeroportals yet, so I wasn't able to use the properly on my map :/

Avoiding the classical "Far West" TF2 theme was one of my goals when creating this map... :p

To find all light_dynamic entities go into map -> entity report and find the light_dynamics there

Also, when bumping you should say bump - and maybe give a reason for bumping too :p
