Hammer crashing bug.

Welp for the longest time now hammer would almost always crash when I opened the texture browser. After doing some tests I found out it always crashed after I see this:

Anyone got a fix?

Verify cache of both Hammer AND Tf2. THis happened to me as well, and I never figured out why it stopped happening...

This happens to me when ever I type in keywords for the search, just click the keyword box and scroll down to tf.

A more important question is:

Anyone got a fix for the Nvidia GeForce 9600 crashing while in hammer? And no. I'm not going to buy a new graphics card.

I think it has to do with an old driver issue. The one before the latest I think is bugged. Did you try updating your drivers?

I already did that about a month ago. And:

Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time.

I did get a reply from valve this time, though! adding -autoconfig to the launch options should solve it. I am testing it now, hope it works...

Edit: this seems to be working! Yay valve!
