So as you presumably gleaned from the title, the spy in this case is vbsp (I assume) and my brushes now lie in irregular triangular pieces. Here, I will provide an example:
So here is one brush, a rectangle I might add. The red lines are what it is showing me in wireframe mode, the yellow is what I would like it to be showing me.
So, here are my 5/2 questions.
1) Are the red lines displaying how the brush is 'cut' into triangles, and if so, is it by vbsp?
2) Is there any way that I can influence this cutting so that it is cut into the yellow template, not the red?
1/2) What makes it so complex? it looks epicenter-based, which is weird, but at the same time it looks to be affected by the visleafs in the map, is it?
