Anyone want a map to continue?

Almost a year ago I started a 5CP map called Mudslide. I worked on it for almost 13 alphas with no real progress, so I gave up and decided to make a smaller, "quicker" map (that turned out to take half a year anyway).

I'm sad to see my hard work on Mudslide go completely forgotten because... Well, personally I never liked it. But I know a lot of people thought it was a decent map and I've been told to finish it, so since I don't want to, why not let someone else do it?

So listen up - You can have Mudslide and finish it! Right here, right now! The catch? You must be an actual regular member, not some guy with 10 posts lurking around here once a week. You should also, you know, do something with it, not just look around and make a13 before you quit.

I'm going to give it to whoever asks first, unless someone can give a particularly good reason to get it.

EDIT: Also note, the map is badly structured and not optimized. There's lots of work to do. :p

I'll do it.
Expect major reconstruction, but I remember this map, it was good fun! :)

Good luck to anyone who takes this offer. I remember Mudslide, good map and it definitely got a well-made design to expand upon.

Personally I'm too busy with my own projects to jump at this opportunity, but It would be cool to see the map get finished.

Also - completely disregarding realism - if some uber awesome, very experienced mapper takes this offer, I'll probably prioritize them. Just saying that to be safe.

No offense though, Stick. :p It's currently probably yours.

Oh come on Muff, please let me do it, I'd love to be able to work on a map without having to worry about starting the layout :)

You've seen Mexico and Canada, they're both pretty good maps, much better than some scrub who only has 10 post's would be :3

Unless that person with 10 posts was Dario Casali.
Then i'd stand corrected.

You could host a small competition of sorts, possibly, having several people create their own finished version.

it'd mean you could send it to a couple of people, rather than just the one.

TPG, you got Grinder from Icarus and you never released it. I'm sorry, I don't think I can trust you to finish this one.

This sounds more Iron Mapper challenge. Rather than giving the responsibility to just one person, a contest should be held for beautifying just one capture point, or even just 1/2 of a capture point in any way the challengers feels they can accomplish this. As long as the integrity of the layout stays in tact. Winner gets full map to finish off.

What I wanted from this was to have someone finish the map. How they do it is up to them, all I require is that it's done properly like any standard map.

I'm sorry to say there will be no contest, but that's not what I want Mudslide to end up as at all.

So without further ado, the map goes to StickZer0!

(After I check it for things that need cleaning up etc)
