I am a beginner map maker and I am having a slight problem on my map. There is a spot that is causing a weird graphical glitch that looks similar to the way water looks when you have a leak in your map. I was hoping that someone knows what causes this. Thanks

1. Do you have a leak?
2. Did you forget to put a skybox?

Explain more, I am not sure where you are receiving the effect: is it everywhere, or just in a certain spot.

I loaded the pointfile and there were no leaks and I also have a skybox.
The effect is just in a small spot. I don't really know how else to describe it =/.

I had a problem with this earlier, and remember that it had something to do with a nodraw brush. I ended up deleting it, and the problem was fixed, so I never got to figure out what was fully causing it.

I moved deleted and remade all my nodraw brushes. I only have 4 func_doors and 2 respawnroomvisualizers. I had the respawnroomvisualizers around the door brushes so i moved it outside. The problem still persists however.

Since it doesn't look like you have any nodraw faces visible, it could be a portal side error. I got them occasionally with earlier maps when I used huge brushes to seal off the map. 90% it's completely benign, but it caused effects like this for me every so often. Compile your map, hit the copy to clipboard button and paste it into this:

Post all the errors found back here
