Hello today I'm showing you a map that I'm working on for TF2 called Palace Of Twilight also known as the Twilight Realm from Zelda where you face Zant. In my map you will re encounter Phantom Zant and Zant. Your team will do a battle to the death. I will also be working on recreating the materials and models as well as the custom particle effects and the music from the original. I will keep you updated with screen shots of the latest of my map I won't keep you waiting.

Say thanks to Daimao for doing the modeling particles and textures ;D

P.S He made the vita saw and the spys beret.

What is the point of showing that huge mass of nodraw in the last screenshot?

You know, once you get lighting done it will look good.

That said, I recall the lighting being partly done by the textures.

These are screenshots in hammer not in game... Also the reason why the last picture is useful is to show progress of the part I'm working on now I do each room completely in nodraw and do applying the textures last i guess its just a habit :/

They are ripped but edited and will not be released for public I will be recreating them from scratch after I get farther with my map.

Woot just finished room 7 just have to apply textures and then just a few more rooms to go :D

Almost done with zants thrown room sorry I stopped working on the map everyone needs there hammer breaks.

I see you're in the good habit of no-drawing everything. However, from experience I find that it is more useful to use one dev texture on everything instead. This way you can load the game up and run around on it to get an idea for scale and such. When you're all done, you just click the "replace" button in the texture tool and choose nodraw.

Same effect, but more workable during the WIP stage.

The size is fine I have checked my map multiple times in game and the sizing is perfect.

How have you checked brushes with nodraw texture on them? Am I being wooshed?
