:facepalm:Can props be resized with in Hammer? When ever I want a bigger sign or something and i grab a corner it shrinks back to normal size. Im sure im missing something quite obvious.

Nope. Props cannot be resized at all. you'd need to decompile the prop, resize it in a modelling program then recompile it and pack it into the BSP when you distribute the map.

Unless you are prepared to pack lots and lots of models into your map, increasing it's size hugely.....give up now.

You can use my guide to decompile existing models. Then you simply add the QC command $scale to adjust the size of the recompiled model.

Or you can move to unreal which has prop scaling in editor ;)

Though assuming you're not going to, go with psy's guide.

EDIT: I read your post properly... >_>

Well, if you want a bigger sign, there are already quite a few huge signs available. I don't know what kind of sign you want, but if you want to point to a Control Point, one of those big arrow billboards or a lettered wooden sign should suffice. Going through all this trouble for something as trivial isn't worth it.

I was looking for a giant boiler tank of some sort, wanted to scale up the red one. I also wanted to scale some of the piping.

The alternative (although it has almost guaranteed poorer results) is to model the prop out of brushes, just throwing that out there, but I don't actually recommend it.
