A Fear Thread
One day, I am walking the streets of Oldtown, New Mexico.
Now, we all know of the spanish heritage.
I did not know Spanish at the time (I was 7), and I was lost at this place. There was a street vendor with a sign dangling from a table. I assumed it said free. I took one.
I began to walk away, and he started yelling, and he started running. I ran, too.
I ran and ran, who knows what would happen. There, I saw my mom's truck.
JOCK, START THE ENGINES!
I got in, and we drove away to McDonalds for lunch.
That is why I avoid markets.
