Map crashes hammer...

Whenever I open my map in hammer it crashes (at 30% reading chunks) and closes the window. This only happens with this map and has been happening since I started editing a roof of a building...

When I try to compile the map through vbct nothing happens and it sits idling at the start of the vbsp process. Also tried switching up some of the code on notepad, but I didn't really know what was causing it and what to change.

Any ideas of what could be causing this and potential fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried your autosaves and seeing if they work?
It may be the best option.

If you don't already know, the default path for autosaves is C:\HammerAutosave.

Thanks I actually forgot about autosaves... Its a few days old unfortunately and lost several hours of work but what can you do. Thanks alot.

I dunno much about brushes, but from my experience using quotation marks as keyvalues in entites will always crash hammer. Don't do it.

Yep it could be a custom model? I've had it happen before it's hard to get fixed in some instances.
