You've probably seen the server around.

Technically the server has been running for close to 9 months now, but there was an IP change during that time period. You can see our server stats here http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/99.198.110.5:27015/

I'd like to say we are probably one of the last active TF2 servers around that run a full custom payload rotation during the daytime. We have a lot of payload fans around our place.

Use to get a lot of new and great payload maps coming out :) It has become a bit of a trickle now. I can probably understand why, there isn't many places that host pl maps anymore, probably due to the massive download sizes of some of them ;). I just wanted to post and let the mappers know there is still an active home for the payload maps. We are always looking to try a new one out.

If you guys have any map for us to check out you can post here, or pm me, or visit our forums http://www.freefrag.com/team-fortress-2/ to post your requests. Generally we don't do alpha testing. But once a map is:
-Beta/RC
-Fully textured and functional
-Support 32 players

Then we would be happy to try out the map :)

Borax, Swiftwater, Frontier, Upward, Deadwood, BeerBowl, Thunder Mountain, DePlane, Outback, Promotion, Floodgates, Mesa, StovePipe, Repository, Panic, Woodland, HalfAcre, Everest V3, Cashworks

I just released b3 of my map weapons facility, I'd like to see it on this server.

ben here is some input on the map so far

-there are 3 or 4 models missing in the map seems to be a crane and an alligator of some sort.
-bit confusing for the 2nd spawnroom for blue there wasn't an easy sign to read outside the door which way to go, I know in some of the spawn rooms you put the arrows on the bottom of the floor, but thats usually not the first place people read them :|
-the final point was easily campable by blue, red didn't have much cover coming out of the door
-2 point it was recommended to have a bit more cover for blue, its hard to knock out a sentry from such an open and long distance.

layout overall looks good, not many dark payload maps coming out :) so it was a good change. looking forward to b4.

Gadget your map will be going into rotation tonight for playtesting

Hey thanks for the feedback i really appreciate it. I released b3a2 which should fix the pakrat issues and i will be releasing b3a3 later which will fix some of the problems you mentioned, again i really appreciate the feedback and im glad you like the night theme.

I've just added a couple new maps to our rotation, Mesa and Promotion. The latest version of Pharaoh and Deluge are also in the pipeline to be added.

This is our current rotation: Borax, Swiftwater, Frontier, Upward, Deadwood, BeerBowl, Thunder Mountain, DePlane, Outback, Promotion, Floodgates, Mesa, StovePipe, Repository, Panic, Woodland, HalfAcre, Everest V3, Cashworks

Deadwood is in the rotation already.

Downhill was in the rotation for a while but the final point is near impossible to defend and there are way too many paths for effective defensive setups.

Oh so are you the head admin of the Payload server? Are you also by chance the head admin of the Map Montage server? Because only recently was that server updated with new stuff and I want to make sure whoever's head there is not going to disappear and be useless again.

I'm the head admin for Payload, Shabow is the head admin for Montage and has been busy with real life for a while.

If you need to talk to someone about the Map Montage server, contact Makatiel or Inflik on the FreeFrag forums, they'll get the problem solved.
