This is the second map I have made. This first one sucked so, I am not going to mention it any further.

Both teams start with a bomb inside their base. The objective is to take that bomb to the enemy base and blow a hole in their base. When the bomb goes off it creates a whole and opens a secondary door(by cutting off the power) so, there are two ways to the intel. Cap the intel a number of times and you win.

I have learned everything I know about mapping through random tutorials and messing around.

Awesome Screenshot tutorial :p
and those walls might make your map claustrophobic
just put a skybox there, i'd say

I am already familiar with all of the things discussed in that tutorial, but thank you.
Lol, I thought I got rid of the hud and weapon in those shots, I just now realized that it didn't work.

That shot makes those walls look even taller than they are, and it is supposed to be inside a canyon. out side of that there is a skybox.

also, it looks like it might have optimization problems, because it looks like there is one large area that will have constant fighting, so that may be a problem

pyros look quite overpowered in most of the outside part, because a good airblaster could easily airblast slow classes off the edge, and not have to worry about them for a good 10 seconds

I tested the optimization, it runs well. I was being careful of that.

For balancing I need people to test and play it, or I don't really know what classes have to much advantage and why.

Also, I would prefer people actually walk through the level, these screen shots don't show much, such as the inside of the bases, and the screen shots make it look like there is a lot more rock. I guess I should have taken some looking up, but I didn't think of that.

Submit it to Gameday, I would like to see how this one plays

Oh, cool. I didn't know there was such a thing as Gameday until you mentioned it.
I will submit it, but I see the last one was yesterday.

Well, that's annoying, it has to be versioned although it does make sense. I am going to have to compile a special version just for gameday.
