I can't get this game out of my head -- I wish there were more little games like these. The emphasis is placed on conveying a message or story rather than gameplay.

It gets really good when you "get it" and play the game again with the subtext.

I'm not entirely sure if I get it, I get 3 endings. I don't even get what happens in one of the endings after you say you want to be closer to her.

I do like games with good stories, but I don't like having to analyze them either.

Spoiler: She is an evil android from another galaxy

Real spoilers below, look out:
She is dead/broke up with him and/or he is crazy. The "closer" ending is likely him doing some kind of bodily harm in an attempt to kill or injure himself ("didn't hit any nerves"). Gives more credibility to the girlfriend being dead possibility. The happy ending is moving on from her memory. The ending between those is remaining static, not moving on and not "getting closer"

Oh, that's it? I was expecting something really deep and philosophical, the way Icarus talked about it.

EDIT: Shmitz's explanation makes a lot of sense, actually.

My thoughts

(That's what I got from it too: Leigh is a metaphor for some kind of addictive drug, IE Heroin. Just play through the game again reading the subtext with that in mind... and all of a sudden all the dialogues take a whole new meaning.
I read through it all again, and I had moments of "Oh, god..."
That's why you end up the the hospital after you get closer/succumb fully to the addiction and overdose, nearly killing you.
This is just one interpretation, but that's what I got from it.
)

I love games like this and Every Day the Same Dream, and will always be looking for more.

It does seem like drugs, after playing through again this really stands out to me as to do with drugs:

I played this game a few minutes ago. Very nice, I enjoyed the story. SPOILER I agree that leigh is a representation of something addictive. In a part of the story the protagonist notices when she "flickers", what could that mean? And why the name of the game: "Air pressure"?

I noticed she only seems to flicker if you try to be nice to her. If you want to try to break up with her from the get-go, and never apologize, you don't see it at all. Maybe the protagonist is realizing she isn't as harmless as she seems? At the same time, it's a good way to "warn" the player that there is something more to her that what you initially would believe.
A very nice touch. The first time I saw it was the first time I realized that this was no ordinary game, and that she is not exactly "real".

It takes 5 minutes, Fatony. You're hardly dedicating an evening to it.

I had the suspicion, Shmitz, because of what the nurse said in the "third" ending made me realise there was more to this "reality" that we are presented with, than what otherwise appears. I just wasn't sure that that was the case, because it was encrypted this message was ambiguous.
