CTF_Syphon contest entry...

Open and fairly simple map, 3 entrance points to the intel room.

May add sewer entrance/center point bypass.

Intel room needs some work.

Added download for Beta 1.

To do list...

- Stilll need to make the 3d skybox
- More optimisation
- Truncate map/area
- May seal off central building depending on playtesting/feedback

Are the wall textures weird like that intentionally? It's really weird how there's a black (whatever it's called) in the middle of the wall.

Oh, the black is meant to be the rubber trim at the bottom of the wall, i kinda liked it up higher

Oh yeah, thanks Ill do that!

For the next version I want tighten up the map and get rid of any 'dead' areas...
I was thinking of sealing off the unfinished building (or bunker as u called it) and maybe the central/turbine building.

All depends on the playtesting.

- Added an area where engi's might build teleports etc.
- Ive added more detail and outside of play area scenery etc.

These trees abruptly appeared when I was well near enough to see them. Also, way too much bloom outside.

Those drainholes are way too large. Also, the outside texture is visible from inside (the sides of the doorway).

The lip should be flush with the wall; it's sticking way out.

Thanks... Actually the first one is intentional, 2nd ill fix once the SDK is fixed :(

Syphon keeps crashing all clients whenever it rotates in. It's unplayable at the moment.
