Update 23/2/10 - Map Updating

So the update today brings mostly changes and updates to maps, particularly 2fort and Doublecross.

Code:
Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Engine
Fixed servers being inappropriately delisted from the master server

Team Fortress 2
Updated CTF_Doublecross
Improved clipping to prevent players from getting to unintended places
Updated CTF_2Fort
Fixed Blue players being able to block the Blue spawn room doors to lock in teammates
Moved the Blue team Sniper wall down to match the Red team Sniper wall
Updated Russian localization strings
Fixed the Pyro not being able to deflect enemy flares
Fixed pipebombs not being removed if they explode in a func_nogrenades zone


So not including the changes mentioned, has anyone noticed anything else that's changed?

Maybe I'm ignorant, but the blue team's sniper wall was higher than the red? I had no idea. :O

apparently this update killed the nade hit detection on players, although i haven't tested this myself

Aw, i'll miss watching the bridge from safety, ready to ambush, through that gap.

I doubt it'll happen but i'm still waiting for them to clip most of 2fort. I love the map, as many people know, but a large majority of my deaths are from catching trims and trusses. Notably the main bloody entrance.

Yeah. Especially the frickin' wagon wheel. (And other things you can see in ctf_2fort_fixup's changelog. I may revisit some of them now that point_push seems to be working as an anti-camp-on-thingy measure.)

Sounds like the flipside of the bug that they had introducing the Ambassador.

Someone accidentally changed the hit-rules so that it used the set of bullet-boxes instead of the projectile-box.

A sad day for Demoman, hopefully they will bring a fix tomorrow.
Or they will wait for two year just like in the 2fort case.
