On my map, I have spots where I'm using a grate texture with a env_laser behind it. For some reason, and I cannot figure it out for the life of me, in game in certain spots, it will look like the grate textured brush is actually UNDER the laser, so you get spots where the laser is under the texture, then over it, then under it.

The only way I've been able to have any affect on it, was when moving the whole map around on the grid which changed the position of where the laser appeared to be over the grate textured brush, when it's supposed to be under.

Any help is appreciated.

note: The lasers are entirely under the grate textured brush (otherwise they wouldn't show if they were in the brush). All other sides of the grate textured brush have nodraw.

update: Fixed. It looks like it's the major X/Y Axis lines on the Grid that causes this problem with the grate/glass textures with a light/laser behind them.

The major X/Y axis lines being the ones that are blue when you zoom out all the way on the grid in the top down view.

Does the env_laser effect even work in TF2?
I might be interested in using this for my map...
