I'm a huge fan of BF1942.

When I found out there wasn't any ticket based games I was dissapointed.

Instead of complaining I decided to make my own.

TICKET HILL​


As the name suggests, Ticket Hill takes place on a hill, a huge hill.
The point of this map is to kill 75 enemies.

Since the enemy can be lame and hide in their spawn, I've decided to add a KOTH style cap point, this drains the "stock" of the opponent by 1 every 15 seconds.

This is still work in progress obviously.



KNOWN BUGS​

Every time someone on a specific team dies, the announcer says "Time has been added!" This seems to only happen to 1 team a round. It's random on what team it happens too.

NOT CONFIRMED:
Sometimes the stock will display incorrectly and be off by 1 - 3. I think this is fixed. this was caused by players spawning too fast, the spawn rooms should have fixed this.
EDIT: Joining spectator causes this.


Things to add/fix.​

Better desert area, since it's unreachable, I through it together fast.
More stuff in the spawn room
Adding a mission briefing.

Interesting idea, KOTH but with spawn tickets.
Impressive work if you've got the game mechanic functioning properly already.

Any chance of an overview screenshot, top down stylee?

Edit: Two things straight of the bat, some more lights and maybe a building or two would be good.

It's very open which means only scouts and snipers will really be chosen to play as on this map. You need to balance for all classes. Also, turn the shadows off on your grass props, they are casting ugly shadows.
