This is my first map for TF2! Hope you enjoy it!

It's a payload map, where the blu team have to push a bomb to an underground red facility, hidden under a city building!

Impressive! The whole idea is ingenious and well made. I have only couple suggenstions remove all hl2 props, they don't fit in tf2 world. Secondly those "holes" in that building in the first picture don't look very real or nice. I'd just remove them.

Edit: Can't download mapfile... Anyone else has this problem?

Interesting setting, the outside is pretty cool, but those extremely green lights inside suck.

The green lights make it look like lights from inside a pool reflecting up to the ceiling...except without the wavy lights that show that water is there.

Such strong lighting colors are always a no-no, especially when you have white light sources on the ceiling...

That was supposedly some Cerenkov radiations that we can see in nuclear reactors... (kind of blueish waters)

About the holes in walls, I'll try to make them look a bit more realistic...

looks great but i do see some HL2 buildings in far side ridge on the first screenshot and second :)

I actually think that the hl2 props look fine in this setting. They may not be the standard tf2 style, but they don't look terrible or anything (note that this is also based on screen shots alone, so I don't know how they fit in the rest of the map). As for the lighting in the pool, it could be toned down ever so slightly.

It looks a lot better in the screenshots then it did ingame. Not much of a fan but its really good for your first map. Just seems like it is a persons first map. Looking forward to what else you can bring to the table because you do have some talent.

thanks everebody but that's all about the look of the map.

Has anyone tried to play it with some people? Is it fun to play? Balanced? And so on :D

The reason you don't want colored lights isn't for good looks, it's a gameplay issue. It makes the colors harder to identify and TF2 strongly relies on color theory. Plus green lights make people nauseous.

Yeah I had some issues on earlier versions of the map as red players looked like blue ones underground, but that is apparently fixed... I'll remember your advice though for my next projects ^^
