Archway

So yeah. This is my contest entry, named Archway. It's an Invade-type CTF map built around a mixture of tight corridors and open spaces, with an emphasis on cover and height advantage. The layout is small and simple for the sake of quick captures and simple gameplay, as well as to favor smaller teams. It's essentially impossible to get lost. The theme is based partially on Hydro, partially on Gravelpit, partially on Badlands. Why not?

FEEDBACK WOULD BE QUITE NICE INDEED.

The arch is just decoration for the bridge, really. I'd like to replace it with a fancy, more detailed model in a later version.

(I'm also planning on calling it ctf_archway in later versions~)

looks nice thus far.
however from the images the flag room and centre rooms seem quite large and open to me. gonna need to do something about them sightlines or direct hit and sniper rifle will quickly become weapons of choice (not to mention that broad sight lines inthe middle could hurt the FPS depending on how much of the bases can be seen from the centre).

Yeah, I just textured them gold for kicks and giggles ([ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Arches[/ame]). With another texture they'd look fine, and like Eyce said, it's alpha. Who cares?
