Can't select groups in Hammer side view

Hi all!

I'm experiencing something really strange in Hammer. A few days ago, Hammer stopped letting me select grouped objects--but only in the side (x/z) view. In any other view quadrant, I can select grouped objects. Obviously the "Groups" selection filter is on, so that isn't the issue.

I've switched the top and front views to show a side view (to see if it was one particular quadrant), and when I do that, I can't select grouped objects there either.

Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Well, since it just started happening, my guess would have to be some sort of Hammer hotkey combination. There is more than likely some hotkey combination to allow you to select groups in a specific view of the grid. I would run through the Hammer Hotkey list and see if you find anything there.

If it really bothers you, you could probably move all your map files and other stuff out of the sourcesdk_content folder and reinstall Source SDK. Takes 20 minutes tops to do that.
