I started working on this map from twilight princess. At the moment I am working on exporting models and textures from the game cube version. I need to extract the models and textures so I can get started, I'm going to use the the actual game for reference on how everything was done. This will be a control point map, but with some awesome new futures never before used in any other tf2 maps made from a Zelda game. After blue team captures point 1 red team gets sent to the next spawn point where they build up while blue team solves the original puzzles form the actual game. So while red team is building up and is waiting for blue team to solve the puzzles. If blue team solves the puzzles fast it can mess with reds setup time. I have no idea how many cp's there will be until I get the whole world imported though 3dsmax and into Source SDK. This will be a very complex process but I will get through it  so post ideas and tell me what you think.

I'm ripping textures so I can remake them, how does this violate intellectual property rights? I never said I will use the ripped models or textures in the map. All I will be doing is using the models as my tracing paper in Source SDK so I can use them as a reference.

The puzzle solving sound like an interesting idea. If done well it could be a blast.

Only one thing. The pair of giant scales. With more than one person on the team wouldn't that be too easy? :p

Looks good, i bought the game and it resembles it well (although my sole purpose of buying it was to hack my wii but didn't work in end because of firmware).

I also like the puzzle idea although this might be difficult with 1 person.
Maybe we could use physhics objects for weighing them down.
However it's a nice idea and overall i hope thi goes well :)

I have the idea that this has to violate some vague form of intellectual property rights if you're ripping Textures from a game then plan on redistributing them in this map. >_>

Who cares, it looks good.

Yeah there needs to be more...Fun maps. Not so many serious maps.

You're kidding ... right?
What do you consider "Prop Hunt" and those "Surf" maps?

--------------------
I'd really like to lend you a hand in terms of mapping. At the moment, I'm only good at mapping, my areas rely on details. Lighting, decorations, etc.
Here's a map I made, and am still working. (A Q3DM7 remake, so-to-speak).

who cares ?
since you work on a similar project, not you. but the creator of the described content, i'd guess. you're always on thin ice if you work on projects like this instead of actually recreating the desired content.
it's just a tad immature to poop on certain laws and ripping content with certain hackerish methods is never a gentlemans way of creating content :)
