The Temple of Isis once was a holy Egyptian monument. Now, you can just find bunches of mercenaries fighting over a single briefcase full of so called "Intelligence" and trying to give it to the other team. Why is there a briefcase in the middle of an egyptian temple? Why do they want the other team to have it?

This previously rule breaking map is now of the Invade CTF gametype, where you need to deliver the intelligence to the other teams base.

1) Don't go with the traditional theme, mix it up like thebes did.
2) I wouldn't go for the insta points mechanic, it sounds like another varyation of king of the hill meets ctf. If you have the flag when a point opens, you get the point, if a point opens and you get the flag, you also have a point. All the flag carrier needs to do is get it, and hide. He would be protected by his team and the game would be over. Sorry to come off so rough, but I think this could be subject to griefing, much like ninjaball in Halo 3.

I did have worries that would turn out to be like that. However, I want to test this method and see how it works. If it turns out to be dreadful, I will add a second timer and make it so that no matter when you pick it up, it needs to be held for a certain amount of time. This would make sense, however, I like the idea of the sense of urgency that the current style brings.

But it's still a1, things can change yet :)

Well then, I guess it'll be an invade type mode then for the next version.
Other issues:
Too big!
Huge sightlines.
Annoying doors.

So in a2, I will be changing the doors to be dropdowns, making an area for capping the flag and closing up the spaces.

a2:

Timer ran out and map did not end.

Capture area not well labeled.

Capture area accessed by narrow twisty tunnels - expect to see sentries

Capture area directly next to spawn exit.

Obelisks still floating.

There seems to be a bit of debate about whether the map is too big or not. Some people say it's too big and others say it's fine. I was planning just to leave it be, but since it is so easy to capture the flag currently, I want to make the throne room much bigger. However, this will increase run times and make it worse for the people who think it's too big now.

I need opinions on if it is indeed too big, or not.
