hey guys

i'm making a map (kinda obvious :p)
i wanted to test it, ran the map but while it was compiling my map i saw some
warnings :glare:
the lines were
WARNING: Too many light styles on a face at (6120.011230, 3521.000000
all like this :O :O

what does this mean?
is there a max of the number of lights i can use in a map? or on a face?

You don't have to name every light, the only time you need to name a light is if you're going to alter it in some way through inputs (turn the light off, on, diff colors, etc). Otherwise you just leave them unnamed.

Leave them unnamed. If you name them they become 'dynamic' and steal loads of system resources to render, not to mention unnecasserily counting towards your limited dynamic entity count that you'll want for stuff like doors and game functions.

It's mentioned here, now. But honestly, this stuff gets said here and there when it's needed. It's not necassery to create a thread about just that, and the amount of people who actually run into this problem is tiny.
