adding time to koth timer?

is there any way to add time to a specific team's koth timer?
can't seem to find any from the koth entity setup :\

zz_red_koth_timer and zz_blue_koth_timer are the two team_round_timers automatically created in KotH. You can send them AddTime inputs (Hammer will show these as errors).

what type of variant? Capture the flag to give a 30 second penalty (ie they need to hold the hill another 30 seconds), with normal koth gameplay?
